It is with immense pride and profound optimism that I address you as the Chief Advisor of the inaugural Ekata Model United Nations Conference 2025.

This conference stands as a testament to what passion, unity, and vision can achieve when brought together under a single purpose. The theme of "Ekata" — meaning unity — is not just a name but a powerful reflection of what this MUN strives to embody: collaboration beyond borders, empathy in discourse, and a shared commitment to shaping a better world through diplomacy. Each committee, each agenda, and each delegate here today is part of a greater movement to inspire critical thinking and foster global citizenship.

Our Secretary-General Pragyan Gautam, in particular, has been a driving force behind this vision. Though this marks his first tenure in the role, he has displayed the leadership, resilience, and clarity of purpose of a seasoned diplomat. His ability to unite the team, navigate challenges, and stay anchored to the conference’s core values has been truly commendable.

As we embark on these days of intense debate, negotiation, and collaboration, I urge each of you to embrace the spirit of Ekata — to listen, to lead, and to learn. May this conference not only challenge your intellect but also ignite your passion for international relations, debate & politics.
